Data Modeller

Exciting opportunity for experienced Data Modeller to work with our client helping to build data modelling capabilities.   Hybrid work model. 
 
Responsibilities will include:

• Creating logical and physical data models
• Maintaining conceptual, logical and physical data models to support existing and new projects
• Ability to work with different stakeholders and provide data modelling expertise
• Build physical data models from database and SQL scripts
• Work across Microsoft stack including Azure
• You will work with visualisation tools using Power BI 
• Work across DevOps management 
• Ability to pick up a brief from stakeholder and run with it
• Ability too build rapport with teams
• Other tasks as directed

 
Only candidates with the following skills should apply:

• Strong data modelling skills
• Strong skills with conceptual, logical and physical data models
• Experience working with different stakeholders
• Strong skills with Azure and Microsoft tech stack
• Experience working across data warehousing platforms and systems
• Strong data modelling skills using Star Schema
• Strong skills with SQL
• Experience with language models would be an advantage including Python or R
• Ability to hit the ground running 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently 
• Experience working across Agile and fast paced environments

This is a hybrid role 3 days in the office and 2 from home.    Role is offered as fixed term appointment for 6 months with high chance of extension.
