About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated
Data Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Python development and automated testing frameworks like Pytest and strong understanding of
Data Quality Assurance frameworks.In addition, the role requires familiarity with Google Cloud Platform and related services like cloud storage, BigQuery. Experience in Cloud Run and/or Cloud Function also nice to have.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain Data Quality Assurance testing frameworks and tools using Python and/or DBT
- Collaborate with data engineer to implement and execute Data Quality Assurance components.
- Design, integrate and implement test plan and test cases to validate Data Quality check align with organization business rules.
- Conduct data validation across different data sources like On-Premises SQL Server, BigQuery etc.
- Identify, analyse and troubleshoot Data Quality issues, anomalies and work with relevant team to resolve the issues.
- Monitor and evaluate the Data Quality metrics and performance indicators of data sources.
- Participate in the Data Quality framework implementation.
About YouYou will be a positive and proactive professional with strong organisational and time management skills. You will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively work within a collaborative team environment in a complex IT environment. You will be a self-starter who can work independently on sprint goals.
Key Skills and Experience- Strong capability in testing frameworks such as Pytest and DBT
- Google Cloud Platform and related services like Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Cloud Run, and Cloud Functions.
- Demonstrated experience working within an agile methodology, preferably SCRUM.
- Experience implementing test automation into a CI/CD environment.
- Previous experience in the health care sector is highly desirable.
