We are seeking a Data Scientist Manager to join our Commercial Data Products team to assist the Director of Data Products with a strong data science and data engineering capability that allows Nine to provide a superior and more agile solution to the redevelopment of its Data Products and large client engagements.
Day to day you will:
- Maximise the use of Nine’s 1st Party data attributes to deliver on innovative ways to meet our changing data needs to satisfy external data shares
- Extract data from multiple data sources in GCP (BigQuery) and/or AWS and shape into meaningful improvements to Data Products and insights products
- Support the wider Data Team in the rebuild of Nine’s customer segmentation tool - 9Tribes
- Work closely with the Business Applications and Data Engineering team (technology team) to deliver on the data product roadmap
- Provide data science and data engineering guidance and advice to the Director of Data Products in the support of Nine enterprise data shares to agency groups and data partners
- Make recommendations to adapt existing data product processes to drive commercial data revenues
- Assist in technical reviews of Nine’s Data Clean room strategy for onboarding advertiser data
