Your Role:
As a Data Scientist with Dashdot, you will lead the development and implementation of cutting-edge machine-learning solutions that drive data-driven decision-making within our organisation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, build scalable models, and leverage cloud technologies to deliver impactful insights.
You will have a passion for GenAI and its potential to transform the property industry. Your Responsibilities:
Drive Machine Learning Model Development:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of machine learning models, including deep learning models, to address intricate business challenges.
- Utilise advanced techniques to tackle tasks like property valuation, risk assessment, and portfolio optimisation.
Data Science Projects:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritise data science projects that align with overarching business objectives.
- Ensure that projects are strategically aligned and contribute effectively to business goals.
Utilise Technologies:
- Harness Databricks for data engineering, model development, and advanced analytics endeavours.
- Investigate and apply GenAI technologies to enhance services and deliver innovative solutions for the organisation.
Implementation and Communication:
- Implement MLOps practices to streamline model deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement processes.
- Utilise Git for version control, fostering effective collaboration among team members.
- Communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through comprehensive reports, presentations, and impactful visualisations.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in all team meetings, 1:1 meetings, and Dashdot meetings.
- Complete other Data and AI activities from time to time as required by management and senior leadership team.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data science or machine learning, demonstrating a track record of successful project delivery.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical analysis techniques, including deep learning.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and associated data science tools.
- Familiarity with Databricks for data engineering and machine learning workflows.
- Knowledge of GenAI technologies and their applications in the property industry.
- Proficiency with machine learning frameworks such as XGBoost, scikit-learn, PyTorch, and TensorFlow.
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI (Preferred).
- Strong project management and organisational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Passion for AI and its potential to transform industries.
