About The Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Scientist with a strong background in SQL and experimental modelling to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for uncovering insights from data, designing and analysing experiments, and implementing SQL-based solutions to drive business decisions.
Qualifications:
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SQL, with experience in writing complex queries, stored procedures, and optimising database performance.
- Strong understanding of statistical methods and experimental design (e.g., A/B testing, regression analysis).
- Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R for statistical analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- SQL Development and Management:
- Design, develop, and optimise complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data.
- Maintain and improve database systems, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to implement data solutions and pipelines.
- Experimental Modelling and Statistical Analysis:
- Design, conduct, and analyse A/B tests and other experiments to assess the impact of new features and strategies.
- Develop statistical models to predict trends, inform business decisions, and optimise processes.
- Interpret and communicate findings from experimental data to stakeholders.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports to track key metrics and performance indicators.
- Present data-driven recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.
