Our client, a large Federal Government department based in Woden, ACT, or Brisbane, QLD, requires an experienced Data Solution Architect for a long 12 + 12 + 12 month contract.
Duties
Development of the technology solutions and mapping the business requirements to data and data platform/systems/technical requirements.
Deliver Solution Architecture and design documentation understanding the enterprise patterns and data technology.
Applying industry best practice frameworks, patterns, and technologies including on-premise, cloud and hybrid environments.
Expertise in Azure DevOps and a working knowledge of SharePoint.
Selection Criteria
5+ years' years of experience in data architect roles or Solution Architect role in data warehouse space.
Understand complex information systems and design effective Data Solutions and models.
Prepare and champion architectural artefacts such as Solution Architectures, Design Standards, Data Strategies.
Recommend solutions and patterns for improving processes in existing or new systems/capabilities.
Support the iterative design and definition of common entities in the Enterprise Data Model
Work collaboratively in Scaled Agile Framework team to deliver contemporary Data Solutions, prototypes in a hybrid hyperscale cloud environment.
Cloud, hybrid-cloud, or cloud-migration experience- demonstrated understanding of the benefits and limitations of new paradigms of data management in the cloud.
Skillset required
Experience with data modelling, data modelling patterns and enterprise data models.
Understanding of Data Warehouse Patterns.
Technology Integration skills.
