Data Solution Architect

This is a long-term contract role with an initial contract duration of 12 months, with the possibility of two 12-month extensions, located at our client's offices in ACT and QLD. Minimum 3 full days per week in the office (or as applicable to your specific work order).
As the selected candidate, you will:

• Develop technology solutions and map business requirements to data and data platform/systems/technical requirements.
• Deliver Solution Architecture understanding the enterprise patterns and data technology.
• Improve work processes and develop/implement standards, processes, and procedures.
• Embed strong leadership practices focused on developing the workforce and collectively plan for improving capability.
• Contribute towards knowledge and skills transfer.

To be successful in this role you should have:

• 5+ years of experience in data architect roles or Solution Architect roles within the data warehouse space.
• An understanding of complex information systems and the ability to design effective Data Solutions and models.
• Experience in preparing and championing architectural artefacts such as Solution Architectures, Design Standards, and Data Strategies.
• The ability to recommend solutions and patterns for improving processes in existing or new systems/capabilities.
• Experience in supporting the iterative design and definition of common entities in the Enterprise Data Model.
• Proven experience in delivering Scaled Agile Framework team to deliver contemporary Data Solutions, prototypes in a hybrid hyperscale cloud environment.
• Proven experience in delivering high-quality, well-structured communication.
• Technical competency and the ability to communicate technical information and designs.
• Cloud, hybrid-cloud, or cloud-migration experience with a demonstrated understanding of the benefits and limitations of new paradigms of data management in the cloud.

Capabilities Required:

• Experience with data modelling, data modelling patterns, and enterprise data models.
• Understanding of Data Warehouse Patterns
• Technology Integration skillset

Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens with a Baseline security clearance.
