- Strategic Data and Analytics Platform
Our large federal government client is delivering a strategic data and analytics platform for sensitive environments along with data analytics, data cataloguing and data quality management services to enable self-service business intelligence and analytics on priority datasets. This platform will enable our client to harness its data to improve speed and accuracy for strategic decision-making.
As an experienced Solution Architect, your responsibilities will include:
- Set up and provide detailed guidance on work in/on a very significant cloud based data analytics platform for the program delivery of Final Operating capability (FOC).
- Undertake stakeholder engagement activities, including management of security accreditation and acceptance into service processes.
- The Solution Architect may be involved in aspects of supporting the program by providing a cross program view on delivery of artefacts relating to the analysis and design of the platform for achieving FOC.
- Setup and provide detailed guidance on the approach/policy and sets standards for the support provided for managing and monitoring the Analytics Platform for FOC.
- Plan and Develop project artefacts for delivery of certain ICT capabilities inclusive of architecture standards, these will be required for achieving operating capability of Product Releases 2 and 3 for FOC of the program.
Skills and experience required:
- Experience in ICT infrastructure and ICT services definition Defence industry and/or systems integration experience is preferred.
- Experience in the successful delivery of complex and large scale analytics programs.
- Background in delivering large government programs, in particular design and delivery of large data warehouse programs.
- Competence in the delivery of analytics artefacts using one of IBM Data Warehouse, TeraData, Oracle Data Warehouse or Synapse.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work in an agile team environment.
