Data Warehouse Engineer Team Lead

In this role, you should have a proven background in SQL, ETL and Data Warehouse design. The ideal candidate will be able to lead a small team to proactively tackle sophisticated problems and design data models that empower various business units to be successful in the accomplishment of their goals!Key responsibilities:

• Translate business needs into designs for end-to-end data solutions with a wholistic view of the entire business
• Lead a small team in the planning and execution of Data Warehouse engineering to meet company goals.
• Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g. Data Models, Warehouses, etc.)
• Create ETL/ELT processes to store and transform data.
• Continually evaluate and improve existing BI architecture.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate systems.
• Develop sophisticated database queries and conduct analyses.
• Create visualizations and reports for requested projects.
• Develop and update Data Warehouse design documentation.
• Design and implement physical and logical layers of the Data Warehouse.

The successful candidate will have proven experience as a Data Warehouse Engineer with a solid grasp of SQL and relational theory. You have experience with modern BI technologies and a background in Data Warehouse implementation and design. You demonstrate an in-depth understanding of database management systems and ETL framework. You have proven ability to take initiative and be innovative, with an analytical mind and a problem solving aptitude.
