About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Database Administrator to join our dynamic team in Sydney. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a critical role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our database systems, ensuring they meet business requirements and strategic needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day tasks associated with the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Bank’s database systems.
- Ensure database systems align with business requirements and the Bank’s strategic needs.
- Maintain positive engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive the ongoing development of database system functionality.
- Deliver ongoing improvements to streamline processes and enhance the user experience.
Technical Capabilities:
- Proven experience in Database Modelling.
- Proficiency in Data Virtualisation technologies.
- Experience in administrating databases on Oracle 12c and SQL Server platforms.
- Previous Database Administration responsibilities in a medium-large organisation.
- Advanced understanding of database concepts.
- Keep abreast of industry developments and best practices in the areas of responsibility.
Qualifications:
Tertiary qualifications relevant to the Bank or IT industry.
Professional level certifications, such as Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle Database.
Ability to obtain and maintain industry certifications at current levels.
