This is a great opportunity to play a critical role in design, implementation, maintenance and capacity plan of our customer database systems, ensuring they meet business requirements and strategic need and growth.
The responsibility demands you to play an excellent team lead role and make an integral part of an incredibly talented team of database experts.
- Perform day-to-day DBA tasks on the database on-prem and cloud systems.
- Excellent collaboration with the team in observing Service Level and Operation Level Agreements are met.
- Maintain positive engagement with stakeholders and take ownership of problems, incidents and deliver excellent support and service to the customers every time.
- Take part in an on-call roster to provide 24x7 support.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and team members workload.
- Maintaining IT knowledge base and documentation is up to date.
At least 5 years of experience in the following DBMS technologies and skills
- Db2 (LUW)
- SQL Server
- Experience in Unix, Linux & Windows operating systems.
- Database upgrades and migrations.
- Advanced SQL development skills.
- SQL performance tuning & troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
