Job Description
Are you a passionate Database and application developer specialized in Microsoft development tools and technologies who can support the company digital transformation through building integrations between the company ERP and other internal and external applications, that can also contribute to data migration and transformation, as well as reporting and business intelligence initiatives, during and after the ERP implementation project.
Key Responsibilities of the role:
- Develop and maintain databases, data exchange layers, data pipelines, ETL jobs, and workflows.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, fix, and improve the company data pipelines.
- Contribute to database administration daily tasks and emergencies.
- Develop new, improve, and maintain existing reports, BI and self-serving reporting solutions.
- Develop and provide input into the design, planning and management of data migration processes.
- Support and improve the existing data migration platform and extend it for the next phase of project.
- Perform data migration/movement testing, reconciliation, and exception reporting.
- Contribute to data quality improvement and data transformation initiatives.
- Develop Integration layers between D365 and other internal/external applications.
- Identify, report, and fix the breaking points and weak codes in the data, BI, and application environment.
- Contribute to all future Business Intelligence, self-serving platforms, ML and AI projects.
- Maintain and continuously improve and standardize existing data, BI and application stacks from both process and technology perspective
- Preserve the technology consistency across the application and data environment
- Contribute to usability, availability, and efficiency of the system by keeping the high-quality work and adopting industry best practices
Qualifications
To be successful in the role, you will require:
- Demonstrated experience in software development with MS .Net and SQL Server
- Bachelor of Computing Science/IT degree or relevant tertiary qualifications
- Object-oriented design experience and experience with Continuous Integration
- MS SQL Server (Development and Administration)
- MS PowerBI
- MS BI Stack (SSIS, SSRS)
- Azure SQL Database
- Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, Storage, Automation
