This role sits within the Institutional Technology domain, which delivers full end-to-end world class products and services to our global Institutional, Corporate and Commercial and Retail customers across Oceania and Asia. It incorporates capabilities across areas of Investment Banking, Trading and Sales, Cash Management, Wholesale Lending and Trade Finance, with a single view of a customer to better integrate business and technology in creating a seamless customer experience.
As an analyst, you will work as part of a small team whose mission is generate and distribute actionable data and insights to our internal customers.
A key focus of your role will be business management reporting and driving improvements. You will produce and automate reporting across a broad range of pillars, including risk, business performance and finance.
You will generate insights and drive improvements across the area with a key focus on improving processes, documenting benefits and capturing knowledge, so we can scale our improvements amongst other teams.

What will you bring?
- Qualification in a relevant area e.g. Data Management, Systems Management, Financial Management, Computer Science, Business Analytics or Business Administration
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in data analysis/reporting or process analysis
- Analytical and inquisitive mindset
- Ability to generate data insights and translate into practical business recommendations
- Experience mapping and improving processes
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Profeciency in data analysis tools,primarily in the Microsoft suite – Excel, PowerQuery, PowerBI. Experience and proficiency with dashboarding or Python considered a bonus
