The Day Work Electrician reports to the Facilities & Maintenance Manager.
We are searching for an experienced Electrician to join our team. If you share our Purpose and Values and feel that you have the experience and skills we need, please outline in your cover letter and resume.
About the role:
- The successful applicant will hold -
- Electrical Trade Qualification
- Qualified Supervisors Certificate
- Work within the Maintenance and Facilities Team to ensure the successful maintenance and upkeep of plant equipment.
- The position is Day Work Electrician, Monday to Friday (7am to 3.30pm)
About you:
- You will have the specified qualifications.
- Experience working as an Electrician is essential, working within the manufacturing industries, FMCG is desired.
- Experience in fault finding, control equipment, and the installation and modification of electrical equipment within a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
- High voltage training, first aid certificate, working at heights and confined spaces tickets would be an advantage.
- Previous experience working with PLC’s and control systems would also be regarded favourably.
- Strong communication, inter-personal and organisational skills.
- Strong problem solving and continuous improvement skills would be preferred.
