Debt Agreement Account Manager

Growing Finance company is looking for a Debt Agreement Account Manager to handle soft collection calls and convert queries regarding formal and informal debt management options.

Key responsibilities in the role include:

• Handling enquiries for formal and informal debt management customers
• Soft Collection calls
• Assisting our Sales team by discussing the client’s situation with them and exploring their options.
• Assessing the eligibility and suitability of a Debt Agreement for our clients.
• Completing thorough consults with clients which includes extracting personal and financial information verbally and then following up on the supporting documentation of this information.
• Dealing with the creditors of clients in relation to their debts via phone and email. This includes contacting creditors for information and also negotiating with them on the clients behalf.
• Preparation of Debt Agreement proposals by assessing bank statements and supporting documents and entering financial information.
• Accounts receivable function to assist debtors to maintain their Debt Agreement payments on time and adhere to their arrangement.
• General administration.

Skills & Experience:

• Experience in completing financial applications or assessments
• Compliance understanding
• Experience in sales of a financial product or service
• Ideally experience within the insolvency industry
• A working knowledge of key regulatory and compliance standards in relation to credit provision and debt collection (preferred but not essential)
• Excellent work ethic
• Be a team player as well as an ability to work autonomously
• Be target driven and strive towards reaching and exceeding KPI’s
• Be empathetic while negotiating a positive outcome for the customer
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
