Debt Recovery Lawyer

Our client is a nationally recognised leader in debt collection and receivables management that further extends their services and business structure to a small legal firm located in the South Eastern suburbs. Through the innovation and success of their services, they are now looking to expand their dynamic team through a new opportunity for a Debt Recovery Lawyer that shares the same values of honesty and innovation to further embrace their objectives of future success in a collaborative and supportive environment.
An exciting opportunity for a talented and experienced Lawyer, this position is focused on engaging with major clients within insurance, utilities and tollway industries, that will furthermore be responsible for:

• Managing cases and clients in relation to Debt Recovery, commercial litigation and insolvency
• Resolving disputes
• Maintaining high levels of customer-satisfaction
• Meeting deadlines and achieving desired outcomes
• Liaise with clients, debtors, references, third parties, as well as all relevant stakeholders.

In order to execute the following tasks, the successful applicants will need to encompass:

• Law degree and relevant legal qualifications
• 2+ years post admission experience in Debt Recovery, dispute resolution, and commercial litigation
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks and conflicting deadlines
• Commitment to providing exceptional client service
• Membership in the relevant professional associations and societies is desirable
