Deli Manager - The Good Grocer 2nd Avenue - IGA Supermarkets

We have an exciting opportunity for an passionate and experienced Deli Manager to join The Good Grocer 2nd Avenue.

As a Department Manager, you will be responsible for the successful operation of the Department within the store, leading your team to deliver an exceptional fresh food offering to our customers.

Skills required:

• Previous Retail Department Manager experience, Deli departments are preferred but not essential
• Culinary skills and experience are preferred
• Experience leading and developing a team
• Exceptional customer service experience and merchandising ability
• Ability to manage and lead the team, ensuring compliance to Food safety standards
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Retail systems knowledge

• To work closely with the local community and display an ‘of course’ attitude 
• To ensure customers receive an exceptional shopping experience
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and requirements in the store
