Port Fairy IGA has an exciting opportunity for a Weekend Deli Manager.
The days of work for this position are Saturdays and Sundays.
Our Deli is a busy productive department that provides superior customer service to our local and seasonal customers. The Deli team prep and cook meats, salads, sandwiches/rolls/wraps and heat and eat meals.
As the Weekend Deli Manager you will work in collaboration with the Deli Manager to discuss the weekend priorities and tasks.
Weekend Duties will include but not be limited too:
*staff supervision
*daily food preparation
*maintaining stock levels and case displays
*ensuring a high level of customer service
*dedication to hygiene and cleanliness
*all facets of maintaining the quality production of food with an emphasis on cleanliness and safety
We think a customer focused driven individual will fit perfectly into our experienced team, and we would consider experience in staff supervision necessary.
Whilst experience in food handling is advantageous, a Food Handling Certificate is essential, and if you do not hold one, you will need to attain this ASAP.
Remuneration is aligned with our award which includes weekend department rates.
Start date is flexible, depending on the successful applicants previous commitments.
