SalaryLoungelovers is a fast-growing business selling on-trend furniture without the designer price tag. As well as a significant online business, we have stores in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, and Brisbane.
Due to our rapid growth, we are looking for Full time Delivery Driver to join our team. The roles will be based on our warehouse located in Devon Park (10 mins from the CBD). We offer a fast-paced environment, working with a small friendly team.
You must be available for working on Saturdays for which a loading will be paid.
Main role responsibilities are:
- Loading trucks
- Delivering orders into customers’ homes
- Assembling furniture and disposing of packaging when required
- Assisting with deliveries to our Adelaide showroom and re-arrangement
Previous delivery experience and an MR license would be advantageous
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Experience driving a 4-tonne truck (or larger) in the Adelaide Metro Area;
- A full car license with a clean driving history
- Friendly and professional attitude
- Good attention to detail
- Good time management and organization skills
- Good communication skills & dedication to excellent customer service
- Be reliable in terms of attendance and work ethic
- Be physically fit and capable of lifting all types of furniture
- Basic computer skills are highly desirable
This is a full time role over (Tuesday to Saturday)
We start each day at 6.30 AM and offer an immediate start. More hours to the right applicant
We offer an hourly rate of $28 to $32 depending on experience (plus Saturday loading), a great working environment, a very supportive team, and a fantastic opportunity to be part of a secure and fast-growing business.
