Abide Interiors is a home and lifestyle brand located on the Sunshine Coast, QLD. We have been operating for almost 7 years and have experienced solid growth necessitating a new position in our dispatch team.
As part of the Abide team at our Kunda Park, QLD head office/warehouse, you will report to the Warehouse/Product Manager and carry out daily duties as required. You will also be required to deliver high quality customer service at all times.
We are seeking a candidate with strong initiative, to work with existing staff on making improvements in the warehouse area, to maximize efficiency and maintain a safe work area.
We are looking to future and for the right person an opportunity to advance.
Key Requirements:
- Clean and tidy appearance at all times
- Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills are a must
- Professional phone manner and customer relation skills
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Current driver’s license
- Dedication, reliability, commitment and a strong work ethic
- Warehousing, distribution or factory experience
- Quick learner with strong initiative
- Accurate with good attention to detail
- Capable of handling heavy objects (in excess of 15kg)
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
- Forklift licence would be beneficial but not necessary
Daily Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Dispatch, receiving & order picking process.
- Regular stock cycle counts
- Weekly delivery runs
- Safe work place practices
- Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse
- Building and assembling stock items
