Delivery Driver

The Distributors Mt Gambier take pride in providing excellent customer service to our existing and expanding client base. We offer an extensive range of food and beverage products, including paper products, cleaning solutions and catering equipment. 

Based in Mount Gambier this full-time position will ideally suit a person who has a strong work ethic is passionate and self-motivated with the ability to work to tight deadlines with a strong customer focus.

Key responsibilities include, but not limited to

• Delivery of frozen, chilled and dry products in good condition to customers both locally and throughout the South East and Western Victoria in an effective and timely manner
• Ensure all invoices are signed and correctly present paperwork as per company procedures
• Loading & unloading products against manifests, delivery documents and invoices
• Practice safe and correct manual handling
• Cleaning, maintenance and record keeping of fleet vehicles
• General warehouse duties as required

Requirements:

• Must have current Drivers licence
• MR & forklift licence preferred but not essential
• Appropriate physical fitness to undertake the position's duties which includes repetitive lifting/ carrying/ pulling/ pushing of cartons between the average weight of 5kg - 15kg
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Neat and tidy appearance
• Proactive, self-motivated and have great attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Reliable, positive and demonstrates a "Can Do" attitude
