A Protective Clothing Manufacturer for Emergency Services needs a reliable and responsible person to join the Wetherill Park team and be the brand ambassador during the deliveries. The company has a number of long-term contracts with the Emergency Services around Australia and are part of a Global organisation who provide the high-quality clothing that is the last line of protection for Firefighters around the world. The company does everything from making the garments to maintaining and repairing.
They have a strong history supporting Emergency Services around the world. You will be part of helping those in Emergency Services keep safe.
Shifts are:
6am – 2pm or 7am – 3pm
They do operate 7 days per week so the occasional weekend will be required – overtime is paid too.
The Role:
Your role will include but not be limited to:
- Loading and unloading the Van of the 6-7kg bags of garments each morning and bringing back the bags of soiled garments to the warehouse each day
- Follow the pre-determined route displayed on the iPad in the vehicle to each of the Fire Stations
- Drop-off and/or pick-up any bags of garments and the stations
- Be the friendly face of the brand and ensure any quality issues or suggestions for more efficient service are reported back to the Warehouse Manager
- Helping out with some packing of items for couriers in between your deliveries
- Servicing the Greater Sydney basin area
About You:
To be successful in this role you will need to:
- Have a great customer service focus, be well presented, and represent the company well to all clients
- Follow documented procedures, ensure all deliveries are scanned and keep an eye out for more efficient ways of doing things
- Have a current licence and good driving record (no truck licence required)
- Be able to pass medical (lifting up to 10kg) and Police Check
- Be up to date with vaccinations – mandatory vaccination policy in place
- Salary up to $70,000 + Super ($35/hr + Super) – options for overtime available too.
