u&u Recruitment Partners is excited to partner with Container Exchange (COEX) to recruit their newly created role - Delivery Lead (Product). Container Exchange is appointed by the Queensland government to manage and grow Queensland's container refund scheme - Containers for Change.

About the Delivery Lead role:

Reporting directly to the Production & Innovation Manager, this role is responsible for working with the broader strategy and product team to lead the delivery of new and existing products to drive key scheme outcomes. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Working collaboratively across the business to ensure seamless delivery & product readiness to successfully launch new and existing products;
  • Developing and implementing strategies to optimise performance, minimise operational costs, maximise customer satisfaction, and promote environmentally responsible practices;
  • Analysing risks and ensuring assets and suppliers are fit for purpose through your use of commercial acumen and analysis;
  • Building strong external stakeholder relations with suppliers to lead the delivery of all products, understanding market insights, tools, systems & networks; and
  • Collaborating with the broader team and business and supporting the product process internally through your strong innovation and communication skills.

Who are we looking for?

You will be a values driven and respectful team player with excellent communication skills and the ability the excel in a cooperative and collaborative team environment. You will possess:

  • A professional qualification in business, marketing, data analytics, engineering or relevant work experience and certifications in product/solution development;
  • Proven experience operating in a manufacturing or transport & logistics business, with recycling, environmental, logistics or beverages industries desired;
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, underpinned by a truly collaborative approach and a proven ability to build strong and effective partnerships both internally and externally;
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills including the ability to influence at all levels to achieve required outcomes; and
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities with strong capabilities in quantitative and qualitative analysis, design and market insights.
