The Role
The position is responsible for all aspects of Delivery Partner relationship management within the geographical region of QLD. The role manages the compliance, governance, on-boarding and off-boarding of in excess of 500 Delivery Partners including fleet operators, owner drivers and agents, supporting the direction of the TGE network strategy.
Working with Functional and Divisional operational teams across the QLD TGE network, this position is pivotal to enforcing TGE compliance standards, delivering commercial efficiencies and service reliability, and engaging subcontractors to reinforce TGE safety, cultural and service delivery expectations.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Manage QLD based Delivery Partners by ensuring the Team Global Express Agreement is in place, including the Statement of Engagement.
Manage registration and compliance with TGEs Delivery Partner management platform Avetta.
Govern and maintain the integrity of Delivery Partner data within Avetta and address non-compliance.
Act as the relationship manager between TGE and the Delivery Partner, encouraging open and transparent interactions between the two parties.
Manage, monitor and review Delivery Partner data, ensuring it is accurate and up to date at all times.
Participate in the investigation process relating to Delivery Partner performance concerns or incidents.
Actively work with the Delivery Partner to close out non-conformances within the required timeframe as a result of an Audit.
Ensure Delivery Partner services are being provided in line with all aspects of the agreement
Generate reporting and business analytics to monitor and control Delivery Partner activities
Prepare and validate national Delivery Partner activity and compliance status data for the IR team twice yearly, supporting TGE’s obligations under Heads of Agreement
Lead, investigate, and respond to claims regarding Delivery Partners brought to TGE by the Union.
In conjunction with General Manager – Delivery Partners review commercial terms, including rate negotiation and variations for QLD based Delivery Partners.
Build and maintain strong relationships with Delivery Partners to improve operational, customer, cultural and safety performance.
Manage interactions with Fleet Operator Delivery Partners in the event of a serious incident
Drive a high performing culture across the QLD Delivery Partner Team, aligning with the TGE values and behaviours
Support TGE audit & assurance program in accordance with required frequency and risk / spend profile
Support state based stakeholder teams with strategic account management, projects and various operational requirements
Work in a manner that is not harmful to one’s own health and safety and the health and safety of others
Comply with Team Global Express HSE policies and procedures
