Delivery Truckdriver / Full Time or Part Time

We are looking for a mature and responsible team member, with industry experience, who is energetic, responsible and enthusiastic with a strong customer focus.

We need a customer focused person who will help us achieve our vision by building and maintaining strong business relationships with our customers.

• Must be available for this Full Time or Part Time position.
• Must be an experienced driver with a current "HR" (Heavy Rigid) or "MR" (Medium Rigid) Vehicle Drivers Licence and have a good driving record.
• Must have a current forklift licence.
• Must have experience working with Hiab Crane.
• Must be available Monday to Friday.
• Must have the ability to do some heavy lifting and repetitive movement.
• Must be physically fit as handling heavy and bulky building materials is a requirement of the job.
• Understand and meet the needs of our customers.
• Ability to work well in a busy team environment.
• Is able to demonstrate a broad, sound knowledge of hardware, timber and building products.
• Have enthusiasm to continually learn and increase your product knowledge.

BMS Mitre 10 was established in 1934 and is a trusted progressive locally managed hardware and building material supplier based in Toowoomba on the Darling Downs, Queensland. We have 3 stores located in Toowoomba. BMS Mitre 10 supply hardware, building materials, timber, power tools, hand tools, house paint, plumbing, bathroom fixtures and fittings, electrical fittings and garden products.

Reporting to the Manager will include:

1. To ensure customer orders for delivery are loaded onto vehicles safely, expediently and accurately without damage.
2. To ensure customer orders are unloaded safely, expediently without damage to meet customer requirements.
3. To ensure the vehicle is safe for operation by undertaking routine checks and reporting any defects to your manager.
