Experis is supporting a large organisation best known as Dynamic and vibrant, in Canberra and a place where ideas are born, creativity is explored and opportunity is created.The Dell Boomi Developers will also participate in the architecture review process, as well as the implementation, testing and transition of solutions for the University. The Developers are expected to work with a high degree of independence, professionalism.Specifically, the Dell Boomi Developer(s) will:

  • Design, develop, unit test and provision Dell Boomi integration components as part of small, high performing
Agile delivery teams. * Have the ability to review legacy, bespoke integrations from different technologies and replace with well designedDell Boomi integrations as part of modern Digital Services development and delivery. * Fully participate in business discussions and workshops to identify technical requirements as a member of anAgile delivery team. * Understand and adhere to cyber security best practices.
  • Complete technical design documentation including integration diagrams and technical specifications.
  • Support new initiatives by delivering accurate effort estimations.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with both technical and business stakeholders.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Tertiary qualification in computer science / Information Technology / Software Engineering or equivalent (and
extensive relevant experience). * Preferred certifications: Dell Boomi Certified Professional.
  • Minimum 5+ of experience in designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions for complex Finance, HR systems (ideally Finance One) and/r business applications systems, including conducting integration impact assessments, creating integration designs (both high-level and detailed), defining testing approaches for integration deliverables and planning and execution for system/integrations decommissioning.
  • Expertise in implementing cutting-edge integration concepts and technologies, including Dell Boomi, cloud-native integration, Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), microservices architecture, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Domain-Driven Design, to create cohesive and scalable solutions that enhance system interoperability, flexibility, and overall performance.
  • Prior experience in the development of scalable enterprise applications on the Dell Boomi platform.
  • Ability to recommend and apply best practice Dell Boomi techniques and patterns on the platform to optimise
application integrations. * Prior experience in end-to-end software implementation such as designing business solutions, configuring system setups, integrating systems, migrating data, conducting comprehensive testing, and seamless transition to production systems is highly preferred.
  • Apply secure coding practices/processes to ensure solutions delivered are secure and robust.
  • Understand and code against detailed application architecture documents.
  • Strong understanding of integration software and change management.
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Relationship building skills and customer service focused approach.
  • For the senior developer, the successful candidate will ideally have end-to-end delivery experience as an Integration Lead or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of system architecture principles and the ability to design scalable and efficient integration
solutions that align with the overall IT infrastructure. * Extensive knowledge of various integration technologies, platforms, and tools, including a deep understanding ofintegration patterns, APIs, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, middleware, and data mapping. * Expert in integrating financial systems with other enterprise applications, databases, and other third-party systems to ensure seamless data exchange.
  • Strong functional knowledge of finance systems.
  • Strong technical knowledge, critical thinking, problem solving, and analysis skills.
  • Ability to identify risks and issues, propose solutions, and analyse impacts.
  • Experience in a higher education setting is desirable.
  • Ability to work with complex technical tasks and discussions.
  • Strong collaboration abilities with the university established Architectural Review Board (ARB) and IT operational
