New, challenging & integral role that has been created for an experienced & driven Demand Planner/Master Data Analyst to take Bis to the next level!
Bis are now seeking applications for an experienced, highly skilled Demand Planner and Master Data Analyst to join our team based out of our Tomago Office. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Demand Planner and Master Data Analyst is responsible for inventory demand planning by analysing system statistical data and generate forecasting and replenishment solutions. You will also be responsible for managing the material master records in JDEdwards in line with the inventory management strategy to support Bis Underground Operations.Requirements of the Role:
- Develop and maintain forecast demand planning for known asset parts to ensure stock availability.
- Monitor stock valuation and stock exposure with recommendation to mitigate surplus and deficit inventory.
- Provide analysis of inventory turnover and ensure system replenishment levels accurately reflect the business stocking strategy.
- Perform routine stock replenishment reviews with stakeholder engagement.
- Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy.
- Create and maintain all Master Data and branch plant records.
- Develop and maintain an inventory convention manual ensuring governance and system integrity.
- Maintain supplier and customer pricing catalogue in coordination with Procurement and Product Sales Team.
- Ownership of supplier catalogues, updating master information, including cost, category, specification, and lead time.
- Tertiary qualifications in Procurement or Supply Chain and Logistics.
- Minimum of 3 years in the same or similar role.
- Experience using JDEdwards, inventory, purchasing, and demand module experience (highly desirable)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify complex data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate and coordinate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads.
- Thorough knowledge of Supply Chain processes, particularly as relate to inventory cataloguing and replenishment.
