This pivotal role will give you the opportunity to demonstrate your passion for process improvement through your knowledge of supply chain systems development and demand planning experience.
Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for forecast planning incorporating formulation of the demand plan through the forecasting process. You will also ensure that Oztent meets its financial goals by maximising sales with optimal inventory efficiency.
You will:
- Utilise a collaborative and consensus approach by working with the Sales, Marketing and Product team to gather, analyse and validate a rolling 12-month demand forecast to develop an accurate unbiased monthly supply plan.
- Lead the S&OP process and maintain integrity of supply chain software.
- Monitor and maintain inventory, assess fast/slow-moving stock, inventory accuracy and safety stock levels to optimise inventory on hand.
- Maintain and develop KPI’s to track end to end supply chain performance.
- Management of local and overseas suppliers, liaising with freight forwarders and warehouse to ensure optimal supply chain performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives regarding supply chain.
- Ensure operational shipping adherence by managing the shipping operational requirements, liaising with the 3PL, overseeing the end-to-end process from suppliers to the customer or 3PL is attended to.
- Ensure the timely placement of purchase orders to maximise DIFOT and maintain a model stock level.
- Manage the 3PL and Oztent’s stocks to achieve stock variance management monthly.
You will have:
- A minimum 5 years Demand Planning, Inventory Planning and S&OP experience, including with Consumer Goods
- Proficiency with Demand Planning software systems & great ERP system knowledge
- Experience in warehousing, stock management and shipping operations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to work autonomously in a change management role
- A strong proficiency in Microsoft software – Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Persistence and focus
- Proficiency with statistical and forecasting fundamentals
- An understanding of financial impact of forecasting and related decisions
- Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain processes are highly desirable.
