About Us?
The Institute for Urban Indigenous Health Ltd was established by its founding members to provide a coordinated/integrated approach to the planning, development and delivery of comprehensive primary health care services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations within the Southeast Qld Region.
The Oral Health service provides a range of oral health care services from IUIH and Member service clinics as well from a fully equipped mobile van, as required.
About the Role?
The Administration Support Officer is responsible for provision of a high standard of customer service, effective and efficient administration of client appointments, client data and client claims processing; plus, the provision of general administrative support to the Oral Health Team.
Your day-to-day duties may include:
- Coordinate patient registrations and maintain patient contact details
- Review, monitor and audits of data accuracy Checks are run to audit data accuracy
- Provision of a high standard of customer service
- Answer telephone calls promptly and take messages
- Prepare for daily appointments by providing the client files and relevant materials available to clinic dental professionals and visiting health professionals
About You?
- Current Blue Card
- Current Criminal History Check or willingness to obtain
- Current CPR Certificate
- Current C Class Drivers Licence (Qld)
Desirable, but not mandatory:
- Demonstrated experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and /or communities
