SalaryThe Dentists in South Yarra are seeking a motivated and organised Dental Assistant to join our supportive team on a full-time basis, working collaboratively with another assistant and Dr Luke Rickman to provide a fantastic experience for our patients.
Applicants seeking part-time work will also be considered.
Duties & responsibilities:
- Assist Dr Rickman in the treatment room
- Book in and manage appointments for patients from the front desk
- Reprocess dental instruments in our sterilising room
- Day to day administrative tasks using our practice management software
- Ensuring the clinic remains clean and tidy
- Sharing duties evenly with our other full-time Dental Assistant
Experience & attributes:
- Certificate 3 in Dental Assisting
- Experience across all aspects of a dental clinic is desirable, though we can train an otherwise ideal candidate
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Passion for making a positive impact on peoples’ health
- Reliable punctuality
- Tidy personal presentation

Established over 60 years ago and under the management or Dr Rickman since 2014, our team works to ensure patients are treated like family. We provide all dental services including implants and Invisalign. Most of our patients are long-term, loyal individuals, couples, and families spanning all ages. We regularly welcome new patients through referrals. We are well situated with both a tram and bus stop in front of the practice, as well as nearby street parking.
