Dental on Cambridge is located in the bustling Manly Village a short stroll from the picturesque waterfront harbour. We have a professional but relaxed attitude focused on making great experiences for our patients. We are open Monday to Thursday 8:30-6:00 pm, and Fridays 8:30-4:30 pm - no weekends!
The Role
We are a small team of 5 supporting 2 dentists, soon to be 3 Dentists so we're looking to add a talented and experienced Dental Assistant with a positive attitude, willingness to learn and someone who prides themselves on accuracy and customer service. This position is a casual position with a range of hours available between 20 -38 hours weekly.
The right candidate must be willing to work a variety of shifts (mornings, afternoons and all day). We are ideally looking for a candidate seeking to build a career in dental assisting/reception as we want to grow our team for the long term.

Qualifications & experience
- Experience with Exact dental practice management software an advantage
- At least 6 months experience as a Dental Assistant or dental receptionist
- Combined DA and Reception experience an advantage
- Strong history of customer service with no dental experience will be considered
Tasks & responsibilities
We are seeking a talented and experienced Dental Assistant who is able to facilitate positive patient experiences - from your welcoming smile and greeting, to ensuring patients are comfortable during treatment. Your communication skills and customer service focus will be second to none and your polite and professional tone will ensure that patients will remember you by name.
You will be passionate about all aspects of dentistry and pride yourself on providing professional support to our tight-knit team and all of our patients. As we're looking for a seasoned Dental Assistant, you'll already have significant experience, preferably using Exact software, however not essential as training will be provided.
You will have a thirst for learning and work proactively to learn how we do business, ensuring accuracy and team work are your top priorities. We're also looking for someone who asks for clarification to ensure accurate information is provided to patients at all time, we value clear communication.
It's imperative that you're able to work as part of a tight-knit and professional team, and work collectively with the employees already engaged in our practice to achieve great outcomes for our patients.
