Clearly Dental Biloela is a well-established local practice looking for someone to come and join the team. The practice is set just off Gladstone Road and is right across from some of the local quaint cafes and shops in the town. It is a busy commercial and tourist hub, though it still retains that relaxed, country feel. Biloela is a multi-cultural community, servicing big business, government and industry bodies, cooperatives and small business as well as the rural and mining sectors that surround it.
About the opportunity:
Multiple opportunities available as we prepare for significant growth:
- 1 x Casual Dental Assistant (approx. 3-4 days per week)
- 1 x Casual Receptionist (approx. 3-4 days per week)

As a Dental Assistant or Receptionist in our practice you will:
- Maintain our amazing customer and team culture - providing continued excellent customer service to our patients
- Prepare patients & facilities for dental treatment
- Deliver quality chairside assistance to our Dentists
- Provide instrument sterilisation
- Maintain infection control standards and procedures
- Meet and greet patients, providing a great first impression
- Book and amend appointments, answering the phone, updating patient records
- Supporting the Practice Manager and clinical team with the smooth running of the practice
- Making patients aware of dental services and offers
- Handling payments
- Accessing sensitive information whilst maintaining patient confidentiality
- High-end patient care; building & maintaining relationships with all clients in a friendly & warm manner
You'll be:
- Ideally 3+ months experience in Australia as a Dental Assistant and 3+ months Reception experience for our Receptionist role
- Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting highly regarded for the Dental Assistant role - and you'll be compensated with the pay to match your experience level!
- You're a motivated self-starter, this is a fast paced and dynamic role
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Passionate about customer service and patient care
- Organised with attention to detail
- Ability to build rapport with patients, in a cheerful, light-hearted manner
