Dental Excel is seeking a friendly and organised senior Dental Receptionist with demonstrated prior administrative experience to join our patient focused team in Beerwah. The position is for a nine day fortnight where you will be the first point of contact for our dental practice. The ideal candidate will not only possess excellent communication skills and attention to detail, but also showcase passion for providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients warmly and ensure a positive experience from the moment they enter the practice.
- Schedule appointments, manage the calendar and set appointments in a timely and organised manner.
- Handle phone inquiries, address patient concerns, and provide clear information about services.
- Ability to use problem solving skills to efficiently address challenges and enhance efficiency.
- Verify and update patient information, insurance details, and assist with billing enquiries.
- Maintain and keep track of all recall appointments and incomplete treatment plans, update and contact patients accordingly, ensuring timely follow-ups and scheduling.
- Conduct end of day settlements demonstrating proficiency in basic administrative accounting.
- Maintain and clean and welcome reception area.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or similar role is required.
- Proven administrative experience.
- Basic administrative accounting skills and proficiency in end of day settlements.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills.
- Proficient in dental software.
- Certificate III in dental assisting preferred.
