Teachers Health are hiring for a Dental Receptionist to come on board, in our Adelaide centre, on a full-time basis. We are looking for a customer focused individual, to join the front of house team on the Dental side, of our multi-disciplinary Health Centre. Dental Assisting responsibilities will be included as needed to cover for periods of leave and/or absences.
Our centre is open Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5pm and Saturdays 8.30am-2.30pm.

What are we looking for?
- Minimum 12 months experience in Dental Reception/Assisting
- A positive and professional communication style
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office products
- Experience with Oasis or HAMBS is highly regarded.
- Experience working as a Dental receptionist and/or Dental Assistant is also beneficial but not essential
- Strong knowledge and application of infection control processes
Some of your key responsibilities would be:
- Be the first point of contact for our members and customers, face to face, via the phone or online booking system
- Ensure the efficient operation and coordination of our busy dental reception area
- Schedule, manage and confirm appointments
- Take payments and process HICAPS
- Reconcile banking, process fees and follow up outstanding accounts
- Provide support to both our Dental and Optical clinical operations as required - Dental Assisting responsibilities will be included as needed to cover for periods of leave and/or absences.
