We are a busy modern practice with friendly patients and a welcoming positive team. The applicant will be responsible for using their skills and experience to provide patients with the highest level of customer service and patient care whilst undertaking general receptionist duties.
We are looking for someone with exceptional communication skills and an outgoing personality.
Essential skill set that we are looking for:
- Experience as a Dental Assistant or dental knowledge desirable but not essential
- A proven track record of punctuality and reliability
- A professional approach to all aspects of work
- Ability to put anxious patients at ease
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi task and prioritise duties
- Typing 50 wpm
- Flexibility to work evenings and Saturday mornings
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office
- Experience in Oasis Software an advantage
- Working With Children Check
- National Police Clearance
Responsibilities:
- Greeting patients and providing a warm welcoming environment
- Management of the appointment book
- Answering phone enquiries and making calls
- Processing patient invoices using HICAPS, Medicare and Veterans' Affairs claiming
- Management of incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Liaising with specialists rooms
- Some chairside assisting and assisting with sterilisation when necessary
