Dental Therapist

Area Profile: This position is based in Northam and also visits Toodyay.

We are currently seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and suitably experienced individual to a Dental Therapist position that has become available. In this role, you will be responsible for providing dental care for enrolled children in a dental mobile setting and Dental Therapy Centre located in and around Northam. Additionally, you will maintain patient records and centre management records in accordance with DHS instructions and supervise/guide Dental Clinic Assistants and student Dental Clinic Assistants.

Selection Criteria:

• Eligible for registration by the Dental Board of Australia.  Demonstrated organisational ability.  
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.  
• Demonstrated experience working within a small team environment.
• Current knowledge of legislative obligations for  Equal Opportunity, Disability Services and Occupational Safety and Health, and how these impact on employment and service delivery.
