An exciting opportunity exists to lead and work as part of the Enhancing Supportive Community Care team (ESCC). This is a collaborative community-based multidisciplinary team which provides care to people with late-stage degenerative and chronic conditions, and disability. The service model is designed for people in the last 2 years of life with a focus on wellness and prevention of hospitalisation.

Allied Health Professional (Level 4): $2,252.73 - $2,307.33

Where you'll be working
This is a community-based position providing care to people in residing within NSLHD.The office is based at Macquarie Hospital North Ryde.
What you'll be doing
The role will be accountable for the development and provision of the teams of high-quality clinical services in response to demand and client needs. The Department Head will provide leadership, management, and accountability for staff, and will ensure clinical practice is consistent and in accordance with evidenced based practice. The Department Head will carry a clinical case load.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Senior Psychologist or Occupational Therapist with full AHPRA registration or Social Worker eligible for membership of AASW. Social Workers and Occupational Therapists will need minimum experience as a Level 2. Senior Psychologist with a four year degree in psychology, registered as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia and a minimum of one year at the 9th year of service on the Psychology salary scale.
