Cabonne Council is seeking a dynamic and qualified individual to lead our Transport Infrastructure department. This key position is responsible for guiding the department in delivering exceptional service and asset management. As a leader, you will play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction of Council’s Transport Infrastructure services in alignment with Council’s IP&R and department plan.
This is a full-time role based at our Cudal office, offering a unique opportunity to work in a close-knit community that values work/life balance and fosters career development. The position operates over a 35-hour week with a 9-day fortnight.
The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in project and financial management, understanding Local Government legislation, and technical aspects of road and bridge construction. Effective leadership, asset management knowledge, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software are essential.
