Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Grocery Manager to oversee all aspects of our client's grocery department. The Grocery Manager will be responsible for maintaining inventory levels, ensuring product quality and freshness, managing department staff, and maximizing sales and profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Manage grocery department operations including ordering, stocking, and merchandising.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement control procedures.
- Maintain product quality and freshness standards.
- Train, supervise, and schedule department staff.
- Implement sales strategies to meet goals.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
- Address customer inquiries and requests professionally.
- Previous experience in a supermarket or grocery retail environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of grocery products, brands, and industry trends.
- Proven leadership abilities with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- $65,000 - $70,000 + Superannuation.
