We employ 300 staff at our Gillman head office and in our regional depots in Port Augusta, Whyalla, Port Pirie, Kadina, Clare, Berri, and Victor Harbor. This network enables us to provide next-day express freight services to all South Australia (Metro and Regional), Broken Hill and Mildura.
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Depot Manager to head up the Team at our Port Pirie Depot.
This full-time position is a key leadership role within our regional operations team and responsible for managing and driving the operational performance of the Port Pirie Depot. Our ideal candidate can effectively build trust and strong working relationships with not only their direct team but the broader Cochrane’s business and customer base.
About You
We are seeking someone with proven experience within the Transport and Logistics industry who passionately demonstrates a strong commitment to safety whilst leading the operational team.
Our ideal candidate can demonstrate:
• Sound problem solving, organizational and decision-making skills.
• Physically fit with the ability to work under pressure and effectively manage competing priorities and operational demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Technologically savvy with proficiency in utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite of Programs and scanning technology.
• Driver’s license (MR) (Essential).
• Diploma in Supply Chain or Logistics Management (or equivalent experience) (Desirable).
