We are seeking applications from energetic, enthusiastic, and well-presented service-oriented persons to join our committed team in a full time role.
Key Responsibilities:
The right person for this role will have the ability to learn, lead and expand the business in the local district. Duties include managing a small team of both office staff and drivers on a daily basis, coordinating the scheduling of local fuel and lubricant deliveries, maintenance and safety of all processes and equipment, stock management and providing great customer service. You will receive lots of support from the senior management team,
Competencies:
- Established experience managing staff to optimise performance.
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- Confidence to lead by example.
- Ability to use initiative and resourcefulness for problem solving.
- Good computer skills (MS Outlook, Word & Excel)
- Familiarity with the local district to support scheduling.
- Efficient time management and organisational skills
- Good understanding of safety and environmental legislation
- At least 12 months experience in Transport industry with a sound understanding of industry compliance would be an advantage.
The successful applicant will be offered a competitive salary, phone and company vehicle. Further salary review will occur after demonstration of relevant skills and completion of specific internal training.
