We are currently seeking a forward-thinking, innovative Deputy Director, Donor Relations with strong strategic leadership skills, process implementation and stakeholder management skills to join our portfolio.Reporting into the Executive Director, Development (Faculties) and working closely with the Senior Leadership of the Advancement Portfolio, the Deputy Director, Donor Relations will be responsible for leading a team of highly specialised Donor Relations professionals to implement the Donors Relations Roadmap, which looks to build off the strengths of the program, whilst embedding efficiencies and streamlining activity to deliver the greatest impact for our donors and the University.This role will be pivotal in maintaining and expanding the team’s capacity to build the focus on repeat giving of our major and principal gifts donors through delivering strategic and bespoke experiences that demonstrate the impact of their philanthropic giving and how this aligns with the University’s priorities. Philanthropy is essential to the delivery of the . To support the ambitions of the University, the Advancement Portfolio is in the planning phase of the next comprehensive campaign. Building alignment between donors’ future aspirations and the University’s goals is critical to the Donor Relations program.To achieve the ambitious philanthropy goals, it will be essential for the Deputy Director, Donor Relations to focus the team’s resources where they can have the largest impact, whilst maintaining our high stewardship standards for all donors. This will require this role to lead a program of change management and introduce new approaches and processes to deliver quality and meaningful stewardship experiences. As part of this workstream, this role will collaborate closely with the Events, and Marketing & Communications Teams to deliver annual and multi-year plans for donor recognition and engagement initiatives, with the aim of fostering donor loyalty and retention.About youThe University values courage and creativity; openness and engagement; inclusion and diversity; and respect and integrity.
