ABOUT THE ROLE:

Summary of the role:

Join the Technology Team at Mercy Health during this exciting period of transformation and growth in our Health and Healthy Ageing services. 

 This leadership position requires managing, leading, and coordinating the Technical Services Team (approx. 8 team members) to ensure continuous operational and optimised systems that support the organisation's objectives. 

 Reporting to the Director of Technology Operations, this role safeguards the organisation's critical infrastructure, drives innovation, and ensures technology resources are leveraged to drive Mercy Health's success. 

 The Deputy DirectorTechnology Operations supports the Director of Technology Operations as 2IC and acts as a delegate.

ABOUT YOU:

We're looking for a dynamic, energetic individual who can drive innovation, lead change, and foster collaboration within the team. You should have proven senior leadership experience in a complex, diverse, and evolving environment, demonstrating values-based leadership and an engaging, agile character.

Key requirements include:

  • Demonstrated management and leadership skills, including leading a technical operations team.
  • Detailed technical knowledge across technology infrastructure, including servers, storage, virtualization, cloud, and network technologies.
  • A tertiary qualification in Information Technology or related field with at least 5 years’ industry experience.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate your team to deliver excellence aligned with organizational goals, mission, and values.
