Role Description
The role of LMICS Deputy Manager will be to assist the LMICS Strategic Manager with activities including program management, human resource and financial management, funding submissions, LMICS representation and Department of Health reporting requirements. The Deputy Manager will be responsible to oversee the service improvement project delivery activities of the LMICS Data & Project staff, but not have line responsibility for their overall management. In addition the Deputy will support LMICS strategic planning and governance in partnership with the Manager. The role will have specific responsibilities to ensure LMICS reporting requirements are met to the Victorian Government and LMICS Governance Group and partner health services. Some regional travel will be required. This position reports to the LMICS Strategic Manager.

The Team
LMICS works out of the Bendigo Regional Cancer Service, part of the Clinical Operations Division which encompasses acute, allied health, cancer and mental health services. Clinical Operations provide a wide range of general medical, surgical and specialty services including but not limited to; Oncology, Cardiology, Renal, Emergency, Women’s and Children’s, Critical Care, Specialist Clinics, Cancer Clinics and Mental Health Services. The Allied Health teams provide a diverse range of programs and person centred care in inpatient, outpatient, community, home and residential care settings.
