St Joseph's is a Catholic Edmund Rice Education Australia Boys' Secondary College, with an enrolment of approximately 1800 students. This college community is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care. We aim to create a child-safe and child-friendly environment where children are free to enjoy life to the full without any concern for their safety. There is particular attention paid to the most vulnerable children, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, children from culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds, and children with a disability.

Deputy Principal Wellbeing
In the selection of a Deputy Principal, the Principal St Joseph’s College Geelong is seeking to appoint an educator and administrator of the highest calibre who is called to serve and utilise their gifts in bringing to life the mission of our Church through Catholic education in the Edmund Rice tradition.
The Deputy Principal Wellbeing supports the Principal in the daily leadership and management of all aspects of College life. Working in partnership with the Heads of Sub school Wellbeing, Head of Learning Diversity and Head of Wellbeing Programs to accomplish the vision and strategic direction of St Joseph's College.
The role has a strong focus on leading and managing staff and programs in the wellbeing area, directly overseeing the work of the Wellbeing Leadership Team, Wellness Team, committees in relation to student management issues.
The successful applicant would have:
• a current Victorian Institute of Teaching registration, or ability to attain registration, is a requirement for the position, and
• relevant tertiary qualifications.
Salary is in line with the Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2022.
