Dermal Nurse or Dermal Therapist (Skin Health)

Our main areas of interest are hormonal acne, adult acne, rosacea, eczema, dermatitis and psoriasis. 

Our team includes a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), a Naturopath, four Dermal Clinicians and two operations gurus who keep our clinic running smoothly. Our Clinic Director has 20 years of experience in the holistic health industry, 14 of which have been spent managing inflammatory skin disorders.

THE POSITION

As a Dermal Nurse or Dermal Therapist, you will:

• Provide hands-on dermal therapy treatments.
• Work as part of our team, creating personalised treatment protocols and skincare prescriptions to manage inflammatory skin conditions. 
• Work closely with our clients to support them through their skin journey.
• Provide knowledge, support and education to your clients. Helping them to achieve their skin goals.

IMPORTANT KEY POINTS ABOUT THE ROLE

• Working days will be Monday 2-7 pm, Friday 12-7 pm and Saturday 9-12 pm. Additional maternity cover and holiday cover hours may become available. 
• Our clinic is open 10 am—7 pm, Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings. The evening hours are our busiest ones, and working until 7pm will be a requirement. This may not be suitable for people with young families. 
• This is a dermal position focussing on Skin Health. It's a "roll your sleeves up" hands-on dermal therapy role; you will be trained to provide dermal treatments to clients with inflammatory skin disorders.
• We have a stunning space and a great team, but this is not a Cosmetic environment, and the role is not suitable for nurses looking to branch into injectables; we are a Skin Health clinic.  
• For insurance purposes, we require a Diploma qualification from AACDS or similar for Dermal Therapist applicants or a current APHRA registration for Dermal Nurse applicants.
• Australian Citizenship or PR is a must. We cannot sponsor a work Visa or train a nurse on a holiday working Visa. 

MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

The next skin superstar to join our team of Dermal Nurses will be truly passionate about Skin Health and believe in a holistic approach to Skin Health. We are looking for:

• A fully qualified Dermal Therapist with AACDS or similar diploma.
• A Registered Nurse (RN) with current APHRA registration.
• An interest in holistic health and a desire to work with a team of Skin Health experts.
• Excellent people skills, confidence, and ability to lead and work independently.
• Calm under pressure, grounded and able to provide support for clients with complex skin and health challenges. 
• Eager to learn and a good team player.
