AddressThe Australasian Academy of Cosmetic Dermal Science (AACDS) provides specialised courses in the fields of cosmetic nursing and dermal therapies.
This training role is based in Crows Nest, working in AACDS's purpose built training clinic incorporating the latest technology within a fully functioning cosmetic medical clinic.
The ideal candidate should possess an excellent knowledge of dermal therapies and have several years of experience in this role. A formal qualification in dermal therapies is necessary and a Cert IV in Training and Assessment will also need to be obtained asap. The chosen candidate must:
- Have great attention to detail when providing treatments
- A positive attitude
- Exceptional communication skills and great personal presentation
- The ability to build and maintain a client base
- Superior organisational skills and a strong work ethic
- Self-motivation, be reliable, trustworthy and punctual
- The ability to work in a busy clinic alongside Dermal Therapists, Trainers, Cosmetic Nurses and Doctors.
- Sound computer skills and knowledge in MS Office and CMS
A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is necessary in this role. If you don't currently hold one, you will be required you to obtain one within the first six months of commencing the role.
Your main duties will include support and training of AACDS students in practical competencies according to AACDS Dermal Therapies protocols, validating the assessment methods and completing the required paperwork and documentation. The role also requires sessions in dermal therapies to be performed and administration/reception tasks.
