The opportunity:
The purpose of this role is to support the Yarra Trail design team creatively and administratively to deliver seasonal ranges on time and on brand. This includes supporting the design team throughout the development cycle through to bulk production and working with marketing and sales to ensure consistent range information is communicated to independent and major accounts.
To achieve the above you will:
- Assist and support the design team across all categories.
- Assist and support the team in executing product through the development cycle to production.
- Assist in illustrating designs, creating and updating CADS / tech packs / design records.
- Use CADS to produce range books based on orders placed by large independents, department stores and e-Commerce.
- Design/image support for sales and online tools.
- Admin support for the design team.
- Creating and maintaining data integrity (visual/technical/digital) on a seasonal basis, and to meet all set design team targets and goals.
- Assist in sample management and organisation.
- Follow the critical path, adhering to key deadlines and check points on the company timetable.
- Develop relationships by engaging across all departments.
- Assist in photoshoot preparation and contribute to showroom set-up.
- Prepare Dropbox link for all marketing materials.
- Prepare internal and external sales reports.
- Coordinate any instore graphics with the digital team.
- Write descriptions for all brands and send to digital team each season.
The skills and experience you offer us:
- A Tertiary qualification or degree in Fashion and Textile Merchandising or equivalent.
- Skilled in Adobe Suite products.
- Experience using Microsoft 365 Suite.
- 2 to 3 years’ industry experience in a similar role.
