Our team is seeking an experienced Design Electrical Engineer to join us as we strive to deliver and evolve.
ABOUT THE POSITION ON OFFER
Your role entails overseeing the conceptual and detailed engineering aspects of HV Substations, Solar, Battery, and Wind Farms. This includes formulating specifications and engaging with management to address engineering matters.
You'll be supporting the Senior Design Manager in managing critical engineering areas such as Plant Layout & Details, single-line diagram development, and Earthing design.
You will perform the following responsibilities:
- Execute and oversee professional engineering tasks independently
- Provide consultation, recommendations, and expertise in specialized engineering domains
- Validate design work for technical precision and sufficiency
- Manage and coordinate diverse design activities across disciplines
- Strategize the design development process following company protocols
- Supervise the design development process across various disciplines
Your skills and experience:
- Electrical discipline tertiary engineering qualifications
- Member grade standards of the Institution of Engineers, Australia
- Strong expertise in the design of HV Electrical Systems
- Hands-on experience with HV Power Systems and Substations
- Familiarity with modeling packages like PSSE or Digi Silent Power Factor
- Chartered Professional Engineer registration
