Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Materials Preparation: Collaborate with teachers to prepare materials and assist with lessons, ensuring classes have the necessary resources for a smooth learning experience.
- Resource Management: Organize and shop for consumable resources, maintain equipment, and oversee classroom cleanliness to facilitate efficient operations.
- WH&S Compliance: Implement and comply with Workplace Health & Safety policies and practices to ensure a safe learning environment for all.
- Educational Background: Study in design or relevant industry experience is preferred.
- Technical Skills: High level of proficiency in computer-aided design (Adobe suite, 3D software like Onshape), and familiarity with applications interfacing industrial machines.
- Administration Skills: Well-developed administrative skills with attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage resources.
- Equipment Proficiency: Experience using a variety of industrial equipment, demonstrating competence and safety awareness.
- Organizational Skills: Highly organized with excellent planning and problem-solving abilities, able to show initiative and work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Certification: A valid Working with Children Check is required.
